Sunlite HRT-230 2-Bike E-Bike Hitch Rack with Ramp – 2-Inch Receiver

Carry two bikes—including heavy e-bikes and fat-tire bikes—with the Sunlite HRT-230 2-Inch Receiver Tray Rack. Built around a strong steel base with aluminum wheel cages, this heavy-duty hitch rack supports up to 100 pounds per bicycle and 200 pounds total. The rack must never carry more than two bicycles, even when the combined weight is below its 200-pound capacity.

The HRT-230 accommodates bicycles with 20- to 29-inch wheels, tires up to 5 inches wide, and wheelbases up to 50 inches. A removable loading ramp lets you roll heavier bicycles onto the trays instead of lifting them, making the rack particularly useful for electric and fat-tire bikes.

Each bicycle is secured at three points: the front wheel, rear wheel, and seat or middle tube. Adjustable rear-wheel cradles accommodate different wheelbases, while the rack’s protective coating helps resist corrosion caused by water, road salt, and exposure to the elements. For bicycles with tires narrower than 2.5 inches, the included additional Velcro restraints must be used on both the front and rear wheels.

The folding mechanism allows the empty rack to fold upright against the vehicle when not in use or tilt down for trunk or tailgate access while the vehicle is parked. When carrying only one bicycle, it must be loaded in the tray closest to the vehicle.

The HRT-230 is intended exclusively for vehicles equipped with a Class III, IV, or V 2-inch receiver hitch. It must not be installed on a 1.25-inch receiver, trailer, fifth wheel, RV, or the front of a vehicle. It is not designed for motorcycles, mopeds, or three-wheel bicycles. Before use, confirm that the vehicle and hitch have adequate tongue-weight capacity for the combined weight of the rack and loaded bicycles.
